Fiba Salon İKSV
Beyoğlu , Istanbul
IKSVs stage in the Nejat Eczacibasi Building in Sishane. Has operated under the name Salon since 2011; took the name Fiba Salon IKSV after a long-term partnership formed with Fiba Group. One of the few Istanbul stages with no genre distinction: jazz, contemporary music, electronic, indie and world music all find a place on the same calendar. Smaller capacity than large concert halls, which shortens the distance between stage and audience, a scale that makes a difference especially for acoustic and experimental work. The seven-story building also houses the foundations offices, a cafe and a restaurant. Walking distance to the Sishane metro exit and Tunel; the trip home is never an issue.
