A historic Anglican church in Moda, on Yusuf Kamil Pasa Street. Built in 1878 with the initiative and support of the Whittal family, British merchants living in Moda; today used both as a place of worship and a concert hall. The churchs acoustics are the main draw here, one of Istanbuls most distinctive listening spaces for classical music, choir, acoustic and ambient programs. High ceilings and stone walls carry sound in a way you would not hear in a club or hall setting. A seated, quiet layout, a venue for listening, not dancing. In the heart of Moda, walking distance to the Kadikoy pier.
