Sunday Society hosts Shimza at Sortie on the evening of August 23. One of the most recognized names on the South African electronic scene, Shimza is known for sets that blend the organic rhythms of Afro house with deep melodies, never rushing the tempo. Sortie's terrace opening onto the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul's most established addresses for this kind of program, running from Sunday afternoon into midnight, with sunset as the set's natural turning point. Being a Sunday evening, it's more relaxed than the crowded weekend nights, while the music stays just as ambitious. The address for August 23 for anyone who wants to close out the weekend with a Bosphorus view and a solid Afro house set.
