Master pianist, composer and conductor of the Turkish jazz scene Emin Findikoglu takes the stage with his thirteen-piece ensemble Emin Findikoglu +12 at Saint Benoit French High School on the evening of October 2. Bringing seasoned masters together with young stars in the same orchestra, the project is one of the most established examples of big-band jazz in Turkey. Saint Benoits historic hall offers acoustics where winds and piano fill the space together; with thirteen musicians playing at once, this difference is immediately audible. A not-to-be-missed concert in early October for those who want to feel the live weight of big band jazz in a hall.
