Flutist and composer Juli Deák gives her first performance in Turkey at Hara İstanbul on Saturday, 24 October 2026. The event starts at 19:00. Deák presents a concert focused on how the flute interacts with different breathing and blowing techniques, and on the instrument's own mechanical sounds. Trained in classical music in Krakow and Stockholm, her practice also draws on improvisation, jazz and folk traditions. After her debut album Brisk, released in 2026, she has performed at festivals including Intonal, Norbergfestival, MENT Ljubljana and WOS Festival. The concert is organised with the support of the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre.
