Composer, pianist, arranger and music director Ercüment Orkut performs his latest album, Far From Both Ends, live at touché by N Kolay on Wednesday, 17 February 2027. The concert starts at 21:00. Orkut works across jazz, orchestral music, pop, film and TV scores, and is a graduate of the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in Istanbul. He has worked with Sezen Aksu, Kenan Doğulu and Yaşar, shared the stage with international names such as Dee Dee Bridgewater and Nils Landgren, and appeared on more than 50 album recordings. He has written music for productions including İstanbullu Gelin, Yasak Elma and Cadı, and served as music director for Kenan Doğulu's İhtimaller and Symphonity projects. His solo discography includes Low Profile (2015), Persona (2018) and Far From Both Ends (2026). The album's recording lineup joins him on stage: Ercüment Orkut on piano, Tolga Bilgin on trumpet, Kağan Yıldız on double bass and Volkan Öktem on drums. The album's compositions are at the heart of the night, with plenty of room for improvisation, and selections from different periods of Orkut's career will also be played.
