Stephan Jolk
Stephan Jolk is a globally renowned Italian-born DJ and producer known for Melodic Techno, Deep House and, more recently, Afro House sounds. He began his career working in finance in New York before making the radical decision to pursue music full-time and returning to Milan; having grown up in Germany and lived in cities like Paris, he channels his global cultural background into cinematic, emotionally intense music built from layered analog walls of sound, drawing inspiration from experimental pioneers like Aphex Twin and Moderat. He broke through internationally with EPs like "Analogy," "Doubt" and "A Declaration of Love," released on Tale Of Us's prestigious label Afterlife in May 2020, and has since released on other leading labels including Diynamic, Watergate Records and Zamna Records. Jolk has a large following in Turkey, regularly playing sets at Istanbul's Kastel and boat parties, and his live performance in Cappadocia as part of the Sight & Sound Sessions project earned widespread acclaim.
