Pink Concrete
Pink Concrete, real name Yalın Yücel, is an Istanbul-born, Prague-based DJ and music producer known on the electronic music scene for bringing a distinctive perspective to techno. Describing his own style as "putting pink touches on concrete music," he has developed a signature sound by layering hypnotic rhythms, emotional melodies and melancholic yet energetic elements onto a genre often perceived as harsh and serious. He began music production and mixing training in Istanbul while still in high school, and moved to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, in 2015, becoming an active part of the city's vibrant underground electronic scene; beyond DJing, he has also taken on organizing roles, founding or curating projects such as Kave parties, Pinkies club nights and the art-meets-music collective hereandthere in pop-up venues. Performing at clubs across Europe, especially Berlin, and at Boiler Room, Pink Concrete has released notable works including "Jazz Sultan" (2025) and "Soulfood EP" (2024) on his own label, hereandthere.
