Özge Arslan, born in Istanbul in 1989, is a musician, singer, songwriter and professional theatre actress known for blending wave, synth-pop, dance and alternative-folk elements. She started in music through her interest in piano, launched her solo project in 2015, and debuted with the single "Fark Et" on Personal Space Records in 2017. A graduate of a conservatory theatre program and a longtime member of Turkey's State Theatre, she also writes, directs and designs the sound and music for her productions — her self-written, self-composed one-woman show "Bernarda" won her the Theatre Critics Association's Best Actress of the Year award. A notable figure on Istanbul's independent art scene, she performs regularly at venues and platforms like Paribu Art.
