Kwoon
Kwoon is a French post-rock project founded in Paris in 2006, known for melancholic music built around guitars, atmospheric sounds and cinematic elements. Named after a hall used for Chinese martial arts training, the band is led by its founder and creative force, Sandy Lavallart. Their breakout track, "I Lived On The Moon," came with an animated video that won numerous "Best Animation/Video" awards at international festivals. Following their debut album "Tales & Dreams" (2006), Kwoon released "When the Flowers Were Singing..." and "The Guillotine Show," turning their music into cinematic storytelling through fairy-tale-like, award-winning music videos; in recent years Lavallart has drawn attention with "Live Solo Into the Wild," a concept of solo outdoor performances in nature.
