Héctor Oaks
Hector Oaks is a leading Spanish DJ, producer and label owner in modern rave and techno culture. Born in Madrid, he grew up immersed in Spain's 1990s rave and "Bacalao" scene and started mixing at 15. He later moved to Berlin to build his career, studied sound engineering, and developed a vast record collection while working at the city's renowned The Record Loft record shop. Describing his sound as "Neanderthal 2-stepper techno-punk," he blends classic rave tracks with acid, EBM and ghetto-techno elements, playing entirely on vinyl rather than digital formats. A resident DJ at Tbilisi's Bassiani and Berlin's Herrensauna, he founded his own labels OAKS and KAOS and has performed on some of the world's biggest stages, including Berghain, Awakenings and Tomorrowland.
