Feride Zeynep Hakim is a Turkish jazz vocalist, actress and musician with a wide repertoire spanning French chansons, Turkish melodies, jazz and musical theater, active on Turkey's jazz scene both as a solo performer and with her namesake group, Feride Hakim Quintet. A graduate of Bahçeşehir University's Performing Arts department, she also studied at EPCM and Sorbonne Panthéon 1 in Paris, completed Bahçeşehir's Jazz Certificate Program, and took private lessons from figures like Randy Esen and Güç Başar Gülle, developing a stage voice that blends jazz improvisation with musical-theater sensibility. She has performed at prestigious events like the Kaş Jazz Festival and holds regular shows at venues including Hara Istanbul and Divine Brasserie, while also drawing on her acting background to appear in major productions such as the musical "1923."
