Ersay Üner is one of Turkish pop music's most recognized singers, lyricists and composers, having shaped the industry from behind the scenes with numerous chart-topping hits since the 2000s. Born in Seydişehir, Konya in 1978, he grew up immersed in music at a municipal wedding hall where his father worked, and left school during his teenage years to move to Istanbul, where he began playing keyboard at gazino nightclubs.
