DJ Burak Yeter
Burak Yeter is a globally successful Turkish DJ, music producer and remixer who gained major international fame with his 2016 chart-topping hit "Tuesday." Born in Trabzon in 1982, he began classical piano at 5 and guitar at 8, graduated in Civil Engineering from Akdeniz University, then moved to London to earn a master's in Sound Engineering from SAE Institute. He first made his mark by winning DJ competitions organized by MTV and Burn in 2004, released one of Turkey's first solo DJ albums, "For Action," trained thousands of students in professional DJing through Connection Records DJ Academy, which he founded, in cities including Amsterdam, Istanbul and Los Angeles, and has appeared repeatedly on the DJ Mag Top 100 list. In 2025 he set a Guinness World Record by launching from Spain in a custom-designed capsule and performing for an hour in the stratosphere at 55,000 feet.
