Deetron, born Sam Geiser, is a world-renowned Swiss DJ, producer and remixer known for work rooted in Detroit techno and house. Born in Bern in 1978 to a musician father into classical music and jazz, he was drawn to hip-hop culture in his teens before gravitating toward techno and house. He's known for an unusual three-deck mixing style and a deep commitment to vinyl. His album credits include Twisted and Music Over Matter, and his remixes for George Fitzgerald and Jamiroquai became club favorites that brought him wider recognition. He launched his own label, Character, in 2014, and remains a regular at respected clubs like Berghain/Panorama Bar.
