Coşkun Karademir is an internationally acclaimed master of the bağlama and kopuz, a music director and producer who blends traditional Anatolian music with contemporary forms. His project The Secret Ensemble drew international attention with the album Kuşların Çağrısı, and his collaboration with Iranian artist Mahsa Vahdat, Endless Path, built on the poetry of Yunus Emre and Rumi, has been named a Top of the World Album by world music authorities. With Coşkun Karademir Trio he brings Anatolian melodies into dialogue with jazz improvisation, and his Etnik Sinyaller project pairs modal folk melodies with electronic production. Beyond his own albums, he has also composed music for numerous TV series, films and documentaries.
