Can Güngör, born in Istanbul in 1989, is one of the most distinctive voices in Turkey's alternative music scene. Rooted in Kadıköy and known as a multi-instrumentalist, he broke through with his 2016 single "Yalnız Ölmek," which topped Spotify Turkey's viral chart. He has released three albums — Silik Düşler, Sular Dar and Canlı Akustik — and is also a sought-after studio hand, working as drummer, arranger and producer for artists like Mabel Matiz, Teoman, Melike Şahin and Göksel. Since 2022 he has released his own music through his independent label cancan plak, and performs regularly at venues such as Babylon, Zorlu PSM and Blind İstanbul.
