AWEN, born Lucille, is a French-Senegalese DJ, singer and producer who has become one of the most striking voices in Afro House, melodic house and indie dance. Before turning to music full-time, the Paris-born artist worked as a lawyer in Hong Kong — a path she abandoned after losing her father in 2016, a loss that made her rethink what mattered. Her breakthrough came with "Your Voice," a collaboration with Caiiro that turned into a global anthem after being remixed by Keinemusik's Adam Port, racking up tens of millions of streams. On stage she goes beyond the standard DJ set, performing 'hybrid' shows that weave her own live vocals and instrumentation into her electronic production, drawing on West African musical roots she releases through her own label, Kanté. She has played major festivals including Coachella and Tomorrowland, and remains a regular at large open-air events across Turkey, from Istanbul to Ankara and Izmir.
