Answer Code Request (born Patrick Gräser) is a world-renowned Berlin-based German DJ and electronic music producer, and one of the resident DJs at Berghain, techno's most legendary temple. He breaks from rigid 4/4 techno patterns, blending Berlin techno with influences from UK breakbeat, drum & bass and early-90s rave culture. Gräser began his project anonymously so listeners would focus purely on the music, before breaking through with 2011's "Escape Myself" and going on to release albums like Code and Gens on Ostgut Ton, Berghain's own label. Having grown up in the same Berlin underground circle as Marcel Dettmann and Marcel Fengler, he has also released on respected labels including MDR and Monkeytown Records.
