Jakuzi takes the stage at Blind Istanbul on the evening of October 30. Combining synth-pops cold textures with Turkish lyrics and a melancholic vocal delivery, the band is one of the most distinctive Istanbul groups of recent years; in their live sets the synth layers grow thicker and the rhythm more driving. Blinds dark, close-to-stage hall suits the atmosphere the band builds perfectly. The crowd usually moves back and forth between dancing and listening. The address for October 30 for those looking for a synth-focused, melancholic but lively night in Istanbul in late October.
