Cümbüş Cemaat is a collective that reinterprets traditional music without being tied to fixed forms, with the contribution of many musicians, and also writes original pieces. They appeared in Tony Gatlif's 2017 film 'Djam' and played a concert before its Cannes premiere. Their album 'İstanbul', recorded in Frankfurt with Shantel, was released on 8 May 2020 on Essay Recordings. Beginning work on a new album in 2023, the group independently released the first single 'Mumya' on 10 March 2023 and produced 'Meyhaneci' with Selin Sümbültepe for Sillyboy's Ghost Relatives. The concert is on 3 December at 9:00 PM at Blind İstanbul.
