On December 4 at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage, legendary Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek, a giant of European jazz, returns to Istanbul in a concert organized by Stagepass. Joined by pianist Rainer Bruninghaus, bassist Yuri Daniel, and Indian percussion master Trilok Gurtu, Garbarek is known for landmark ECM Records albums such as Belonging and My Song (recorded with Keith Jarrett) and the classic Officium. On stage he brings his signature sound, blending Scandinavian melodies with modal structures and world music.
